HOW WE TRANSFER CINE ON TO DVD

The first step that we take is to examine your films on a film rewind bench, this allows us to remake any existing splices that have come undone and remove any sections that you may not want, for example any totally black or clear sections. This means a transfer with no picture 'judder' or blank screen to interrupt your viewing. Films arriving with us that are backwards on the reel will be correctly wound ready for transfer and we will splice new film leaders onto the front of your films if required - included within the price.

FILM CLEANING

Over time, static attracts dust. Projection can also cause dirt and scratches to appear on the film image as black spots and vertical black or coloured lines. Our liquid cleaning process eliminates most of the surface dust and will reduce the thickness of some black scratches by cleaning out the dirt within the scratch. The result is a clearer and cleaner picture during transfer and this is also included within our prices.

Our projectors have been altered specially to give crystal clear transfer with no flicker. The lens are all Carl Zeiss lenses and we have low light powered bulbs. We also use light diffuser so all the picture is captured.
We can match any of the top transfers in good high quality at a competitive price.

TRANSFER TO PC

We then run the film through our scannerand capture through our 3 CCD High Defnition Macro cam directly on to the PC using premier Pro CS5.5 which is automatically checking the colour, brightness & sharpness.
This save a lot of time. The after it has been capture is digitally enhanced and made ready for DVD.
